Spike Chunsoft's PS4/PS Vita game ships on November 19

Spike Chunsoft began streaming the opening movie on Thursday for its Grand Kingdom tactical role-playing game for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

The website previously streamed the game's fifth promotional video on October 22 that introduced some of the game's cast and job classes.

Spike Chunsoft will release a free Grand Kingdom Lite trial version of the game on November 12, and its save data can be transferred to the package version when it's released.

The game's cast members include:

The game's classes include: Lancer, Gunner, Shaman, Challenger, Fighter, Hunter, Witch, Medic, Blacksmith, Dragon Mage, Rogue, Alchemist, and Noble.

Those who pre-order the game will get a mini soundtrack CD. First editions of the game will include a "battle maiden and glory sword set," which includes a product code for: the limited class "Noble," the legendary sword "Lord Glory," the "Lord Keeper" shield, an original flag and horse for the protagonist's unit, and an original custom theme. The physical copy of the PS4 version will retail for 6,980 yen (about US$56), and the download edition will retail for 6,282 yen (US$51). The physical copy of the PS Vita version will retail for 6,480 yen (US$52), and the download edition will retail for 5,832 yen (US$47).

The game's story takes place more than 100 years after the collapse of the Ordain Empire. In the single-player campaign, players play as a new leader of a mercenary unit that accepts requests from the world's four main nations, each with their own story. However, at the same time there is a shadowy entity secretly moving behind the scenes, and this entity causes a major incident that shocks the entire continent. The game will also have online battle elements.

The new studio Monochro is developing the game, Toshihiko Deguchi (Grand Knights History) is directing the game, Chizu Hashii (Blood+, Loups=Garous - The Motion Picture character designs) is handling the character designs, and Basiscape is handling the sound.
