Dungeon-crawler RPG with 3 protagonists shipped in Japan for PS Vita on July 30

Los Angeles-based game company acttil announced via a press release on Thursday that it will release the Ray GIGANT dungeon-crawling role-playing game for the PlayStation Vita with PlayStation TV compatibility in North America and Europe in spring 2016.

acttil describes the game as follows:

This adventure is set in the near future...
Earth's major cities have been ravaged by giant, terrifying creatures known as Gigants. Across the globe, military forces from every nation attempted to counter the attacks but, to their horror, failed miserably. In a twist of fate, it was reported that a boy named Ichiya Amakaze defeated a GIGANT.
The boy defeated the Gigants using a mysterious power called the Yorigami. This victory was short-lived, however. Ichiya lost control of his power and tragically destroyed the city he tried so hard to protect. After this fateful experience, he fell unconscious. Ichiya was then detained and sent to a safe location where his fate would soon unfold...

The game shipped in Japan on July 30. Bandai Namco Entertainment streamed the game's third promotional video in June:

The "three fates" RPG from developer Experience features three different protagonists. Players can choose which protagonist to play as to play out three different scenarios. Players gather and strengthen their party to take down the "GIGANT" enemies that are threatening to destroy the world.

Atsushi Abe plays Ichiya Amakaze (pictured center in above image), Wataru Hatano plays Kyle Griffin (right), and Yoshino Nanjō plays Nil Phineas (left). Additional cast includes Rumi Ookubo as Mana Izano and Takuya Eguchi as Kazuomi Miwa. acttil's release will feature the Japanese audio track with English subtitles.

Each protagonist also has a main theme song. T.M. Revolution performed Ichiya Amakaze's song "Amakaze," Faylan performed Kyle Griffin's song "Metamorphose," and Yoshino Nanjō performed Nil Phineas' song "blessing symphony."
