Media distribution service Crunchyroll announced on Monday that it has added Deltora Quest and the English-dubbed version of Slam Dunk to its catalog in the United States and Canada. The entire Deltora Quest anime is now streaming, while the first 14 episodes of Slam Dunk are now available in English.

Cinedigm released the 2007 anime Deltora Quest on DVD last June. The series has aired on Hasbro and the Discovery Channel's U.S. television channel The Hub, and also on Cartoon Network in Australia and New Zealand.

The 52-episode series is based on a series of novels by Australian writer Emily Rodda. Crunchyroll describes the story:

Full of mystery and action, the heroic Lief must venture into the darkest and most terrible places in Deltora to find seven magical gems that can free everyone from the evil tyranny of the Shadow Lord. With his friends Jasmine and Barda, Lief vows to recapture the gems and return them to the magical Belt of Deltora before it's too late.

Cinedigm released Slam Dunk season one, volume one on English dub-only DVD in May. Toei released four DVD volumes of the anime with an English dub in 2005 before ceasing its direct distribution plans in North America.

Crunchyroll also streams all 101 episodes with English subtitles.

Crunchyroll describes the story:

Hanamichi Sakuragi is a delinquent with a long history of getting dumped by girls. After enrolling in Shohoku High School, Hanamichi becomes interested in a girl named Haruko who loves the game of basketball.
