The pachinko and slot machine parlor Island in Akihabara, Tokyo announced this week that a television anime adaptation of its "Aira Project" commercials has been green-lit.
The anime stars Pile (Love Live!) as Aira, Kana Hanazawa (Psycho-Pass, Durarara!!) as Hana, and Yuka Iguchi (Bakemonogatari, Seraph of the End) as Shima. Sōta Sugahara (gdgd Fairies, Hi-sCool! Seha Girls) is directing the anime.
The anime will premiere on December 18 on Tokyo MX, and will be a "15-second" series — teased as "the first ever!?" by the parlor's website.
Pile has previously performed a song for Island's "Aira Project" commercial in July.
Island is also hosting a manga series featuring the Aira character on its website.

Sunny GN 5

― Taiyo Matsumoto's Sunny is a deceptive series. On the surface it is a slow-moving slice-of-life story about the group of children living at the Star Kids Home, a “foster home” for orphaned or abandoned children in th...

His brother's life is in danger, so Luffy infiltrates the nigh impregnable prison Impel Down to get him back as One Piece continues one of its darker story arcs.

― I wasn't kidding when I mentioned that Fire Emblem Fates spawned the first real video-game controversy of 2016. Nintendo's localization of the game changes a few things: the translators rewrote a scene where the player's avatar drugs a female mercenary to shake her fixation with beautifu...
Futari wa Pretty Cure Streaming
anime
The first entry in the megafranchise that is Pretty Cure is fun and cute, but never really takes off like some of the later entries do. But it does play with the genre in some interesting ways.
