Gō Ikeyamada Launches New Romantic Comedy Manga in January

The second 2016 issue of Shogakukan's Sho-Comi magazine is announcing on Saturday that manga creator Gō Ikeyamada will launch a new series in the magazine in January. The new series is titled Sekai wa Nakajima ni Koi wo Suru (The World Loves Nakajima). Ikeyamada will launch the series in the magazine's combined third and fourth issue on January 5. The manga will have a color opening page, and art from the manga will appear in the issue's front cover. The first chapter will be 55 pages long.

The magazine describes the series:

Among the billions of people in the world, I will find you.

She's a normal high school girl now, but a fateful encounter will turn her into an idol?! She sees a dream of falling in love, and will fall in love again. A long-awaited romantic comedy from Gō-chan!

The same second issue also published a spinoff extra chapter (pictured above right) of Ikeyamada's So Cute It Hurts!! (Kobayashi ga Kawai Sugite Tsurai!!) manga. The 32-page chapter serves as the final chapter in the manga, and it centers on Mitsuru and Azusa as a couple.

Ikeyamada ended her So Cute It Hurts!! (Kobayashi ga Kawai Sugite Tsurai!!) manga in Sho-Comi on November 5. Shogakukan released the 13th compiled volume of the manga on October 26, and will release the 14th and final volume on December 25. Viz Media is releasing the manga in North America under the title So Cute It Hurts!!. The company published the fourth volume on December 1.

The manga received an original anime DVD bundled with the third volume of the manga in July 2013, and a second anime DVD shipped with the sixth volume of the manga in March 2014.
