Dance with Devils PS Vita Game's Opening Movie Streamed

posted on by Kyle Hallmark
Romance adventure game ships on March 24, 2016

The official website of the upcoming Dance with Devils PlayStation Vita game began streaming the opening movie of the game on Sunday. The video introduces the game's cast and previews the opening theme song "Unmei no Coda" by Wataru Hatano, who voices the character Lind Tachibana.

The game will ship on March 24, 2016. The regular edition will go on sale for 5,800 yen (roughly US$48) and a limited edition version will sell for 7,800 yen (roughly $US65). Rejet is developing the game and Elements Garden will provide the music. The game will feature character designs by Hirotaka Maeda and illustrations by Brains Base.

The romance adventure game follows the same story as the Dance with Devils anime. Players play as Ritsuka Tachibana, and can choose to start a relationship with Rem, Lind, Urie, Mage, Shiki, and Roen. The game will contain over 100 event illustrations.

A stage musical adaptation of Dance with Devils will run from March 3-13, 2016 in Tokyo. Kaori Miuchi is directing the musical and writing the script. The official website of the musical began streaming a short promotional video on Sunday.

The anime premiered in Japan on October 7. Funimation Entertainment streamed the series with subtitles as it aired in Japan, and also began streaming a Broadcast dub on November 11.

Funimation describes the story:

From Rejet, the original creator of Diabolik Lovers, and Brain's Base, the studio behind Princess Jellyfish, comes a devilish tale of high school seduction. Second-year student Ritsuka Tachibana has the perfect school-to-life balance, but all of that's thrown into chaos when she discovers that several of her handsome male classmates are actually demons in disguise.
