Final Fantasy XIV Heavensward Voice Actress Confirmed Dead, Suspect Arrested in Ghana

Arthur Simpson-Kent, 48, was arrested in Ghana on Saturday on suspicion of the murder of actress and voice actress Sian Blake and her two sons. Police uncovered three bodies in the garden of the southeast London home of the 43-year-old actress on Tuesday, and police then confirmed that the bodies were those of Blake and her two sons (aged 8 and 4) on Friday.

A police spokesperson said that Blake and her two sons died from head and neck injuries. The three had been missing since December 13. Police spoke to Simpson-Kent — who was Blake's partner and the father of her two sons — on December 16 before Simpson-Kent then disappeared. According to police, Simpson-Kent arrived in Ghana on December 19.

Simpson-Kent was arrested in a town in western Ghana, and a police spokesman said the police are "working alongside the Ghanaian authorities" but could not provide more information. British newspaper The Guardian reported that Simpson-Kent "is expected to be flown back to the UK for questioning shortly."

Blake, who had motor neurone disease, is most well known for her role as Frankie Pierre in the BBC series EastEnders, but she also voiced the role of Yugiri in the Final Fantasy XIV Heavensward video game.
