Rhythm action game ships on PS Vita on March 24, on PS4 this fall

Sega began streaming a new video on Thursday for its rhythm game Hatsune Miku Project Diva X.

The video previews the following songs and module costumes:

  • "Calc." by JimmyThumb-P (featuring module Engage by toi8)
  • "Babylon" by Tohma (featuring module Chopstick by Nagimiso)
  • "Streaming Heart" by DECO*27 (featuring module Vantage Heart by Gagame)
  • "Umiyuri Kaiteitan" by n-buna (featuring the module Sea Lily by Awashima)

The game will have a total of 30 songs.

Musician Ryo (supercell) composed the song "Tsumi no Namae" (The Name of Sin) as the opening theme song for the game.

The game will feature a "Live Quest Mode," where players can tackle both Area Quests and Event Quests. Area Quests will be located in specific areas, and will allow players to choose their song, while Event Quests will be unlocked as players progress through the game.

In Event Quests, players can conduct "Special Lives" concerts that will allow them to make a set list of three songs, and three characters that will appear in the live. In this mode, players can choose which module costumes they will equip, which makes their character attuned to one of five elements, and skills. Picking the right module for the live allows players to gain more Voltage to clear the quest more quickly.
