posted on by Karen Ressler
Game starts April 15

Aksys Games and "Real Escape Game" producer SCRAP Entertainment announced on Friday that it will host a Real Escape Room based on the Zero Escape video game series in Los Angeles. The "Real Zero Escape: Trust on Trial" room will open at Weller Court on April 15 and continue for an unspecified amount of time. SCRAP stated on Twitter that it is planning to run the room for a few months, but it could continue for longer if there is interest. Tickets will go on sale on February 29.

In the game, players will be locked in a room and must escape within 60 minutes by cooperating to solve puzzles.

SCRAP Entertainment's American branch previously hosted its "Escape from the Walled City: Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin) x Real Escape Game" and Real Escape Game x Evangelion: Escape from an Angel" in the United States.

Aksys Games released Chunsoft's 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors Nintendo DS game and its sequel, Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward for PlayStation Vita and Nintendo 3DS, in North America. A third game, Zero Time Dilemma, is slated for this summer.

Update: Aksys Games clarified that Real Escape Room will not be a one-day event.
