NIS America to Release Yomawari, Touhou Genso Rondo in the West

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Both games slated later this year

Video game and anime licensing company NIS America announced during its press event on Monday that it will bring the horror game Yomawari: Night Alone and the "shoot em up" game Touhou Genso Rondo (working title) to the West. The company announced earlier that it will also release the Psycho-Pass: Mandatory Happiness game.

NIS America opened an English website for Yomawari: Night Alone on Monday, which began streaming an English trailer for the game.

NIS America's parent company Nippon Ichi Software developed the Yomawari PlayStation Vita horror game, and released it in Japan last October.

In the game, players take on the role of a little girl who loses her dog. Her older sister goes out to find the dog but doesn't return. Left alone, the little girl sets out into the dark alone to find them both. But "fears" lurk in the dark.

NIS America will release the game on the PS Vita later this year.

Dōjin circle CUBETYPE developed the Touhou Genso Rondo game for PC. The game is based on the Touhou Project series by Team Shanghai Alice (which consists solely of creator ZUN). Mediascape released Genso Rondo on the PlayStation 4 in Japan last June as part of its "Play, Doujin" project, which publishes dōjin games (such as fan-made Touhou Project titles) on PlayStation platforms. The PS4 version comes with balance adjustments and a full HD upgrade, as well as additional scenarios, event CG, and characters.

The game is available on PlayStation Network Asia with an English version.

NIS America will release the game digitally on the PS4 later this year.
