The official website for the television anime adaptation of Shōtarō Tokunō's New Game! manga began streaming the show's first promotional video on Monday. The video reveals three more cast members. The staff had previously screened the video at a stage event at AnimeJapan 2016 on Sunday.

The new cast members are:

Madoka Asahina as Nene Sakura
Chitose Morinaga as Umiko Ahagon
Eri Kitamura as Shizuku Hazuki

The previously revealed cast members include:

Yūki Takada as Aoba Suzukaze
Yōko Hikasa as Kō Yagami
Ai Kayano as Rin Tōyama
Megumi Yamaguchi as Hifumi Takimoto
Megumi Toda as Hajime Shinota
Ayumi Takeo as Yun Iijima

Takada, Yamaguchi, Toda, and Takeo will perform the show's theme song as a new unit. The staff is taking suggestions for the new unit name.

Yoshiyuki Fujiwara (Plastic Memories, GJ Club) is directing the series at Doga Kobo (Luck & Logic, Himouto! Umaruchan). Ryohei Takeshita (To Love Ru: Darkness, Maken-Ki! Battling Venus 2 episode director) will serve as assistant director. Fumihiko Shimo (Infinite Stratos, Kokoro Connect) is in charge of series composition, and Ai Kikuchi (Engaged to the Unidentified, Rainbow - Nisha Rokubō no Shichinin) is designing the characters. Hajime Hyakkoku (GJ Club, K-ON!) is composing the music.

The series will premiere in July.

In the workplace manga, the main character Aoba Suzukaze graduates from high school and joins a game company. The person who made the game that Aoba loved as a grade-schooler just happens to be Aoba's senior at the company. The story follows girls who work and aspire at the Eaglejump company.

Tokunō launched the manga in Houbunsha's Manga Time Kirara Charat magazine in 2013, and Houbunsha published the third volume in January.
