Yoshino Nanjō Stars in 2nd Panpaka Pantsu Flash Anime

Panpaka Pantsu WO New!, a second season of the Panpaka Pantsu O New! series of five-minute Flash animation shorts, premiered on April 2 on SBS. The anime will then air nationwide (SBS stands for Shizuoka Broadcasting and airs locally in the Shizuoka area) on Kids Station starting in June.
The anime is a collaboration between studio DLE and Shizuoka Broadcasting System's character Panpaka Pantsu. Yoshino Nanjō stars in the series as Panpaka, and she also plays DJ Amigo. Other cast members include:
Kaoru Mizuhara as Pu-nyan, Mother
Shinya Takahashi as Black Panpaka
Mariko Kouda as Kurori
Yoshimitsu Shimoyama as Father
Youji Ueda as Grandpa
Hana Sato as Grandma
Hiroki Gotō as Narrator
Singer Ami Suzuki performs the theme song "Panpaka Pantsu What Ya What Ya Rock" and also takes on her first voice-acting role in the anime.
The first season premiered last April. The anime follows Panpaka, a male piglet whose mission it is to collect "wonderful underwear." Panpaka travels with his cat friend Pu-nyan, and the two of them overcome various hurdles to encounter special underwear, such as mermaid underwear or Kung-Fu underwear.
