Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls PS Vita Game Heads West in Fall

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Game to have digital & physical editions, PS TV support, English dub

Idea Factory International announced on Thursday that it will release Compile Heart's Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls (Chōjigen Taisen Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls: Yume no Gattai Special) PlayStation Vita game in North America and Europe in fall. Idea Factory International launched a website for the game.

Idea Factory International describes the game:

Our story begins in the mysterious halls of an ancient library…The Grand Library holds the history of the world within its shelves. Legend says that if one was to tamper with the books kept there, the past itself could be completely rewritten… A daring adventurer known as IF discovered the location of this revered library and finally crossed its threshold. Little did she know, a disaster of historical proportions was about to occur before her very eyes. Books began to vanish from the library's shelves; the history of the world was disappearing before her and the reasons for this occurrence were shrouded in mystery.

IF sets out on a journey across time to uncover the truth! Will she be able to work together with both the Sega Hard Girls and Goddesses to recover the lost history? Will they really be able to save the world?

Idea Factory International will release the game in both digital and physical editions, and the game will be compatible with the PlayStation TV. The game will have an English dub as well as the original Japanese audio.

The game shipped in Japan last November.

The new addition to the Hyperdimension Neptunia series features characters from the Hyperdimension Neptunia universe, and characters from Sega Hard Girls, the reimagining of Sega hardware systems as girls designed by Hatsune Miku illustrator Kei.

The game's cast includes:

Nao performs the opening theme song "Symmetric generation," and marina performs the ending theme song "History."

Compile Heart first announced the game at the "Dengeki Game Festival 2015 & Dengeki Bunko Spring Festival 2015 & Dengeki Comic Festival 2015" event in March 2015.

Sega Hard Girls inspired the television anime Hi-sCool! Seha Girls in 2014. Crunchyroll streamed the anime series as it aired and Discotek has licensed the series for home video.
