Regional anime channel Animax Asia began streaming an English-subtitled commercial on Sunday for the channel's premiere of the Cross Ange: Rondo of Angel and Dragon (Cross Ange: Tenshi to Ryū no Rondo) anime.

The anime will begin airing on Tuesday at 9:00 p.m. in Jakarta and Bangkok, and 10:00 p.m. in Singapore and the Philippines, with two back-to-back episodes airing every on Monday and Tuesday in the same timeslot.

Animax Asia describes the series:

The human race was able to create the perfect Utopia free from war, starvation and other problems the world has after obtaining the data technology - “Mana”. There is also an irregular type of human - “Norma” who is unable to use Mana.

Angelise Ikaruga Misurugi, the First Princess of the Misurugi Empire was well supported by the people in her empire, until she finds out that she is actually a “Norma”. Her name and title as first princess was immediately taken from her and is thrown on a remote island with other Norma girls who fight for their survival.

Renamed as Ange, will she find the truth behind the façade of Utopia and survive?

The series premiered in Japan in October 2014.

Yoshiharu Ashino (Tweeny Witches) directed the anime at Sunrise, and Tatsuto Higuchi handled series composition. Yuusuke Matsuo provided the concepts for the characters, while Sayaka Ono designed the characters for animation. Singer and songwriter Akiko Shikata (Ar Tonelico series, Tales of Symphonia the Animation) scored the soundtrack. Nana Mizuki performed the opening theme song, while Eri Kitamura performed the ending theme.
