Nintendo Streams English Trailer For Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE RPG

Atlus localizes Wii U game shipping in U.S. on June 24

Nintendo began streaming a "first beats" trailer on Friday for the Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE (Genei Ibun Roku #FE) Wii U role-playing game.

The Shin Megami Tensei and Fire Emblem crossover game will ship in the United States on June 24, and it will have English text while retaining its Japanese audio.

Nintendo told the Game Informer news website on Thursday that Atlus is localizing the game. In the statement, Nintendo told Game Informer that Atlus is localizing the title "in a way that is consistent with the localization work they do on games they publish" and added that "it was a priority to ensure the game feels familiar and appeals to longtime Atlus fans. Any changes made to the in-game content were due to varying requirements and regulations in the many different territories Nintendo distributes its products."

The role-playing game takes place in modern day Japan and centers on the various worries and troubles of the characters. In the game "Mirage" are characters from a parallel universe and "Mirage Masters" are chosen ones who will save the world.

toi8 (No. 6, MAOYU) designed the characters for the game and Hideo Minaba of CyDesignation handled "Mirage" design." Yoshiaki Fujisawa handled the music.
