Nintendo of America announced on Wednesday that the Nintendo 2DS handheld gaming system price will drop from US$99.99 to US$79.99 on May 20. The system will still come bundled with the Mario Kart 7 digital version.

In addition, Nintendo revealed that it will release the Style Savvy: Fasion Forward and Disney Magical World 2 Nintendo 3DS games in North America. The company will release Style Savvy: Fasion Forward on August 19, and Disney Magical World 2 on October 14.

Disney Magical World 2 was titled Disney Magic Castle: My Happy Life 2 in Japan, and the game originally shipped in Japan in November.

As in the first 3DS game, in the sequel players can complete quests, compete in mini games, and more. Players can also create things like clothing for their avatar or decor items for the cafés they manage. The sequel includes characters from recent Disney properties like Frozen as well as classic characters from older titles. The game features more than 120 Disney characters to interact with, up from the more than 60 featured in the first game.

The first game shipped in Japan in August 2013. In North America, it shipped in April 2014 with a tie-in "Mickey Edition" 3DS XL console.

Nintendo released the 2DS in October 2013. The console has all the features of the Nintendo 3DS and 3DS XL without the 3D viewing capability. Nintendo last lowered the price of the 2DS last August, where it went down from US$129.99 to US$99.99.
