Update: MCM London Comic Con Details

Event starts today, runs to Sunday

The MCM London Comic Con will take place from Friday May 27 to Sunday May 29. The event is at London's ExCel Centre. The guide is here. The main panel line-up is as follows:

- Friday

5 p.m. - Anime Limited panel (Platinum)

- Saturday

11 a.m. - Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin III EU premiere, followed by panel with mecha designer Mika Akitaka and producer Osamu Taniguchi (Platinum). Akiataka and Taniguchi will also have a signing session on the Saturday.

2 p.m. - Panel with producer Michael Arias (Tekkonkinkreet, The Animatrix), on his new film Harmony.(Platinum lower)

3 p.m. - Manga Entertainment panel (Bronze) [wrongly referenced as 'Animatsu Entertains' in the online MCM Expo guide.]

5 p.m. - World Cosplay Summit qualifiers (Gold)

- Sunday

11 a.m. - Anime Limited panel (Platinum)

The MyM Magazine stand will have appearances from two anime dub actors: Morgan Garrett (Seraphim in Is This a Zombie?, Meg in Assassination Classroom) and Jason Liebrecht (Finnian in Black Butler, Iceland in Hetalia - Axis Powers, Hei in Darker than Black).

Manga UK's stage will feature Anime Karaoke with over 150 theme songs from such titles as Dragonball Z, Death Note, Bleach and Naruto. (The full list of songs is given on the MangaUK blog.) On the Saturday, there will be a fundraising raffle, with proceeds going to the Kumamoto Japan Earthquake Relief Fund by Global Giving. "Prizes include DBZ and AoT Bundles as well as Manga and Animatsu branded goodies."

The timetable for the Manga UK stage is as follows:

Friday

11 a.m. - Anime Karaoke

12 noon - Narutoselfie (Manga will give out Naruto and Boruto headbands for posing in group selfie)

2 p.m. - Anime Karaoke

3 p.m. - Meet Manga Q&A

4 p.m. - Anime Karaoke

5 p.m. - Kamehamehaa ('Do your best Kamehamehaa or fighting pose')

Saturday

10 a.m. - Narutoselfie

11 a.m. - Anime Karaoke

1 p.m. - Kumamoto Earthquake Relief Raffle

2 p.m. - Anime Karaoke

3 p.m. - Kamehamehaa

4 p.m. - Anime Karaoke

Sunday

10 a.m. - Narutoselfie

11 a.m. - Anime Karaoke

12 noon - Manga Team Meet and Greet

1 p.m. - Kamehamehaa

Anime Limited's All the Anime shop will be selling Universal's Seraph of the End, and 'anticipates' having the following titles for sale at the event: Durarara!!×2 Shō (Collector's Blu-ray, standard DVD), Tokyo Ghoul √A (standard DVD, standard Blu-ray), Lord Marksman and Vanadis (Collector's Blu-ray, standard DVD), Psychic School Wars (Collector's Blu-ray, Standard DVD), Assassination Classroom (Collector's Blu-ray, standard DVD). Anime Limited will also have a screening room built into its booth, with 'shows from Anime Limited and friends of Anime Limited.' It will be screening My Hero Academia (Broadcast dubbed version courtesy of FunimationNow); Aldnoah.Zero; Rage of Bahamut Genesis; Assassination Classroom; and Terror in Resonance. The screening room will also have some mini-panels. Additionally, there will be announcements at the booth's 'News Wall.'

The Gundam: The Origin guests, mecha designer Mika Akitaka and producer Osamu Taniguchi, will have a signing session on Saturday from 2 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. at the MCM Signing Area. 'Please note the guests are there promoting Gundam specifically. if an item you bring is not Gundam related there's a strong chance they may not sign it.'

Crunchyroll will have a booth (#3531), with 'exclusive give-aways for premium users' and 'news and announcements.'
