Berserk TV Anime's Teaser Video Previews 9mm Parabellum Bullet's Theme Song

Miyuki Sawashiro, Rikiya Koyama, more join cast; new key visual features Mozgus

The official website of the new Berserk television anime series began streaming the anime's teaser promotional video on Friday. The video previews 9mm Parabellum Bullet's opening theme song "Inferno."

The website also revealed a new key visual and more cast for the show.

The new cast includes:

Miyuki Sawashiro as Luca
Natsumi Takamori as Nina
Daisuke Hirakawa as Jerome
Ayana Taketatsu as Erica
Minako Kotobuki as Rickert
Takashi Inagaki as Godot
Yūichi Nakamura as Silat
Kouji Ishii as Tapasa
Rikiya Koyama as Mozgus

The series will premiere on WOWOW on July 1 at 10:30 p.m. The anime will also air on MBS, TBS, and CBC starting on July 8, and on BS-TBS starting on July 9.

The anime's previously revealed cast includes:

Hiroaki Iwanaga as Guts

Kaoru Mizuhara as Puck

Hiro Shimono as Isidro

Kazuyuki Okitsu as Serpico

Yōko Hikasa as Farnese

The anime adapts Kentarō Miura's dark fantasy manga of the same name. Miura himself is serving as executive supervisor for the series. Shin Itagaki (Basquash!, Ben-To, Teekyū) is directing the anime. Makoto Fukami (Psycho-Pass, Ōsama-tachi no Viking, Yuruyuri San Hai!) is supervising the series scripts in collaboration with Takashi Yamashita (Cencoroll). Hisashi Abe (Pet Shop of Horrors, Gunslinger Girl, Chobits) is designing the characters. Shiro Sagisu (Berserk films, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Megazone 23) is composing the music. LIDEN FILMS is credited for production, while GEMBA and Millepensee are credited for animation production.

Susumu Hirasawa is composing an insert song title "Hai yo" (Oh Ashes), and Nagi Yanagi will perform the anime's ending theme song "Meimoku no Kanata" (Beyond Closed Eyes).

Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs.
