Viz Media to Publish Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4 Manga, Araki's 'How to Draw Manga' Book

Shonen Jump's Hisashi Sasaki announced at the Shonen Jump panel at Anime Expo on Monday that Viz Media has plans to continue its JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga releases with Part Four - Diamond is Unbreakable, but "can't share the release date yet."

Sasaki also announced that Viz Media will release JoJo's Bizarre Adventure creator Hirohiko Araki's How to Create Manga (Araki Hirohiko no Manga Jutsu) book. The book will retail for US$19.99, but the release date has not yet been revealed. Shueisha published the book in Japan in Arpil 2015.

The book provides concrete explanations on his methodology while also giving advice such as to study the story creation process of Ernest Hemingway. It contains seven chapters starting with "How to Draw an Introduction," andcontinues with chapters about creating a story, creating characters, what a "worldview" is in manga, and a final chapter titled "Tying Together the Theme of All the Parts." The book also contains two practice chapters titled "Until You Can Do Manga" and "How to Draw a Short Story."

Viz Media will ship the fourth volume of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Battle Tendency in August. The company previously confirmed plans to rerelease Part Three - Stardust Crusaders in its deluxe edition format this fall.
