Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Creator Launches ViVid Strike! TV Anime Series in October (Updated)

The "ViVid Strike! PROJECT" opened a website on Thursday to announce that Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha creator and scriptwriter Masaki Tsuzuki is launching a new television anime titled ViVid Strike! that will premiere in October. The official website has also revealed a visual and the show's cast and staff.
The show will star:
Inori Minase as Fuuka Leventon (name romanization not confirmed)
Yui Ogura as Rinne Bellinetta (name romanization not confirmed)
Kaori Mizuhashi as Vivio Takamachi
Mamiko Noto as Einhard Stratos
Sumire Uesaka as Yumina Enclave
Eri Kitamura as Rio Wesley
Misato Fukuen as Corona Timil
Chiwa Saito as Nove Nakajima
Ayane Sakura as Jill Stora (name romanization not confirmed)
Masaki Tsuzuki is credited with the original work and will also write the scripts for the new series. Junji Nishimura (Dog Days', Bakuon!!, Ranma ½) is directing the series at Seven Arcs Pictures (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's). Takuya Fujima (R-15 original character design, Weiß Survive manga creator) is handling the original character designs, and Mariko Itou (key animation for School Rumble: 2nd Semester, Magical Witch Punie-chan) is adapting those designs for animation. Glovision is producing the sound, and Yoichiro Yoshikawa (Kyo kara Maoh!, Baby Steps) is composing the music.
Yui Ogura will perform the opening theme song, and Inori Minase will perform the ending theme. Other staff members include:

Update: While some of the character names and cast from the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid television anime are the same in ViVid Strike!, the show's announcement did not specifically state that the work is a new entry in the Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha franchise.
Tsuzuki's Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha franchise includes four television anime series, two anime films, and numerous spinoff manga. The fourth television anime series, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha ViVid, premiered in April 2015. A third film, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 3rd: Reflection, was announced in 2013.
