4th volume of collaboration between Chaco Abeno, Saki Okuse to ship in September

The seventh issue of Akita Shoten's Young Champion Retsu magazine announced on June 21 that the final chapter of Chaco Abeno and Saki Okuse's Draw: Majo no Nemuru Umi de (Draw: The Ocean Where the Witch Sleeps) manga will appear in the next issue on July 19.

Draw is the tale of a high school boy named Kai, whose younger sister died when she was little, but Kai can still see her ghost. On his way home from high school one day, Kai accidentally witnesses the mysterious powers of a classmate named Draw Yomi. The next day a new student transfers into his class, and Kai's life with his two witch classmates begins.

Abeno and Okuse launched the modern-day magical manga in Young Champion Retsu in October 2013, and Akita Shoten published the third and most recent volume on December 18. Akita Shoten will publish the fourth volume on September 20.

Abeno previously worked on the manga adaptations of the multimedia project sola, AQUAPLUS' visual novel White Album, and her original series Welcome to Wakaba-soh. Broccoli Books licensed sola for North American release in 2007 and released the first volume before shutting down in 2008. Yen Press acquired the rights to Welcome to Wakaba-soh in 2008 and released both volumes of that series. Abeno also drew the manga adaptation of Gakuto Mikumo's Dantalian no Shoka light novel series.

The North American graphic novel publisher Dark Horse Comics released the sixth compiled book volume of Okuse's Ghost Talker's Daydream manga in May 2011, and Digital Manga Inc. published his Twilight of the Dark Master manga in 2005. Tokyopop released seven volumes of Okuse and Aki Shimizu's Blood Sucker: Legend of "Zipangu" manga in 2006-2008.
