Kenyuu Horiuchi voices Artorius in game shipping in Japan on August 18

Bandai Namco Entertainment began streaming the fifth promotional video for the Tales of Berseria role-playing game on Saturday. Bandai Namco Entertainment had originally revealed the video on Saturday during the "Tales of Festival 2016" event. The video previews Velvet's past, and introduces the character Artorius Collbrande — who is the object of Velvet's revenge.

Kenyuu Horiuchi is voicing Artorius in the game. Ah My Goddess manga creator Kousuke Fujishima designed the character. Artorius and Velvet used to consider each other family, but a certain incident that Artorius caused three years ago made Velvet leave his side, and he is now the target of her revenge.

The event on Saturday also revealed another new character named Seres, voiced by Satomi Arai. Seres (who can be seen in the above video at 1:47) is under Artorius' command, but three years ago she regained her emotions in a certain incident, and she began to question his actions. Seres visits Velvet when Velvet is imprisoned on Prison Island.

The YouTube channel for Shueisha's V Jump magazine also posted a 37-minute commentated gameplay video from the game on Tuesday.

The "Tales of Festival 2016" event also revealed that the game's soundtrack will go on sale on September 28.

The game's main cast includes:

Rina Satō as Velvet Crowe
Azumi Asakura as Laphicet
Daisuke Kishio as Rokuro Rangetsu
Ami Koshimizu as Eleanor Hume
Satomi Satou as Magilou
Toshiyuki Morikawa as Eizen
Naomi Nagasawa as Bienfu
Tomoaki Maeno as Oscar Dragonia
Yui Horie as Teresa Linares
Kazuya Nakai as Shigure Rangetsu
Nobuo Tobita as Melchior

Bandai Namco Entertainment will ship the game for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan on August 18, and the company will release the game for PlayStation 4 and PC in North America and Europe in early 2017.

The game's first DLC will arrive on launch day in Japan, and it will include a pirate-themed costume set, a summer vacation costume set, and a traditional Japanese-themed costume set. The first-print limited edition will include a serial code for "Special Dramatic Chat ~Melon Gumi-hen~" (Melon Gel Chapter), a special chat video between the cast members of the game. The digital download edition of the game (both the PS3 and PS4 version) will include a special theme illustration by ufotable.
