Sengoku Basara: Sanada Yukimura-Den Game's 3rd Promo Video Previews Game System

CAPCOM began streaming the third promotional video on Wednesday for its Sengoku Basara: Sanada Yukimura-Den (Sengoku Basara: The Legend of Sanada Yukimura) game. The video previews some of the game's system features, such as Sanada Blood, Tegata Mission, Rokumaru Challenge, Nijiiro Chance, and Bushin System. Several playable characters are also shown, such as Sanada Yukimura, Benmaru, Bontenmaru, Date Masamune, and Sanada Masayuki.
The video also previews the limited pre-order bonuses for the game, including the "White Cross" costume for Sanada Yukimura, and a novel chronicling Yukimura's boyhood years, when he was still named Benmaru.
The game is slated to ship in Japan on August 25 for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
The "first longform drama" game in the Sengoku Basara game franchise will chronicle the life of Sanada Yukimura, and will also tell the "hidden destiny" of Sanada Yukimura and Date Masamune at the summer encampment of Osaka.
The last major entry in the game franchise was Sengoku Basara 4 Sumeragi, which debuted on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in July 2015. The CAPCOM franchise already inspired three television anime series, one anime movie, a live-action series with two compilation films, and several stage plays.
