Leve-5 revealed three new Yo-kai Watch smartphone games during its "Level-5 Vision 2016 -New Heroes-" presentation on Wednesday. The games include YO-KAI WATCH for Smartphones, YO-KAI WATCH Geraporhythm, and YO-KAI DAIJITEN (Yo-kai Big Dictionary).

YO-KAI WATCH for Smartphones is based on the first Yo-kai Watch Nintendo 3DS game. The game will have a top and bottom screen, mimicking the game's presentation from the original platform. The main game screen will be at the top, and the bottom will show a map or battle options.

The game is slated for fall 2016 for iOS and Android devices. Level-5 has not yet revealed the game's price.

YO-KAI WATCH Geraporhythm is the franchise's first rhythm game. The game will contain tracks from the franchise's installments. Players tap the screen in time with the rhythm to score points. Responding to requests from the audience by picking the appropriate yo-kai character will result in more points. Eventually, players will aim to participate in the "Yo-kai Kōhaku" (Yo-kai Red & White Song Contest, named after Japan's annual song contest during New Year's Eve).

The game is slated for March 2017 for iOS and Android devices. The game will be free to play and in-game items will cost extra.

YO-KAI DAIJITEN is a quiz role-playing game, where battles are conducted by answering trivia questions about the Yo-kai Watch world. Players can complete a "Yo-kai Dictionary" that provides information on yo-kai.

The game is slated for November for iOS and Android devices. The game will be free to play and in-game items will cost extra.

Level-5 confirmed via press release on Wednesday that "there is no plan to release [the three games] outside of Japan as of yet."
