PS4/PS3 game slated for September 15 in Japan, February 14 in Americas

Atlus' official Youtube channel streamed a new "short movie" video for its upcoming Persona 5 PlayStation 4 game on Friday featuring the protagonist learning how to work at a coffee shop.

The video starts with the protagonist making coffee and thinking that this time it looks like it'll be good. After he tries it, he celebrates that it turned out well, and gets a "LeBlanc's coffee" item. On another day he tries to make curry, and after eating it and being satisfied with it, he receives two "somewhat delicious curry" items.

Previous "short movie" videos have shown the protagonist bonding with Ryuji while watching sports, playing video games and making infiltration tools on his own, and bonding with Futaba at a movie theater.

The latest entry in the Persona role-playing game series will ship for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on September 15 in Japan, and on February 14, 2017 in the Americas. The game's Western release will have English audio only.

Atlus will offer the American release in a "Take Your Heart" Premium Edition that includes a soundtrack CD, a Morgana plush, a hardcover art book, a steelbook, and a school bag. The game will also be available in a SteelBook Edition.

The game features animation sequences from the Production I.G studio.

The Persona 5 the Animation -The Day Breakers- television anime special will air on September 3. The special will recount the prologue story of the young thief organization at the center of the game.

Hisato Murasaki will launch the Persona 5 manga on Shogakukan's Manga ONE app on September 15, and then on the Ura Sunday website on September 22.
