Game maintains content from PSP version, includes 3 new characters, physical special edition

NIS America announced on Monday that it will release its Disgaea 2 game on the PC via Steam on January 30. The new PC release will include all content from the original Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories game, as well as the Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days PlayStation Portable version of the game, along with an updated user interface, keyboard and mouse support, support on Mac and Steam Machines, and the Dark Eclair, Gig, and Miabel playable characters.

NIS America is streaming a trailer for the game.

NIS America will release a physical special edition for the game, which will include a Disgaea 2 art book and desk mat, and a Disgaea soundtrack and mouse pad.

NIS America describes the game:

Darkness is back. Overlord Zenon has cursed the land, and now, Veldime is transforming into a nasty Netherworld. Memories are sterilized, bodies demonized, the world is falling into chaos. The only one unaffected is a young man, Adell. He stands up to fight the curse, but things never go as planned. The haughty daughter of Zenon, a filthy little frog, lovable demon siblings and a washed-up rock star!? No one can ever predict what goes on in the world of Disgaea. And of course, other Overlords refuse to sit still watching...

Nippon Ichi Software released the original Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories game on the PlayStation 2 in 2006. Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days, an updated PSP port with new content, shipped in 2009. NIS America released the first Disgaea game on the PC via Steam on February 25.
