PS4/PS Vita game's bonuses, Premium Box, Special Collection Box detailed

Koei Tecmo Games' Gust brand began streaming the second promotional video on Thursday for the Atelier Firis: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Journey (Firis no Atelier ~Fushigi na Tabi no Renkinjutsushi~) PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita role-playing game. The video introduces the game's cast and confirms that the game will now ship on November 2 after a delay.

The game's package and download editions retail for 6,800 yen (about US$66) for the PS4 and 5,800 yen (US$56) for the PS Vita. First editions come with a bonus download serial code for a "resort vacation" costume for Firis. A Premium Box version retails for 9,800 yen (US$95) for the PS4 and 8,800 yen (US$85) for the PS Vita, and a Special Collection Box version retails for 18,400 yen (US$179) for the PS4 and 17,400 yen (US$169) for the PS Vita. The Premium Box comes with a visual book, three clear art cards, a "rare tracks CD," a B3-size poster, a "wonderland" costume DLC code for Firis, and a console theme. The Special Collection Box version comes with nine crystal paperweight cubes, a B2-size poster, and an additional console theme, in addition to the contents of the Premium Box.

The game stars:

Koei Tecmo Games will exhibit the game at Tokyo Game Show 2016 from September 15-18, and the PS4 version will be playable at the event. Koei Tecmo Games had announced on Thursday that it will release the game in North America and Europe, although the company hasn't given a release date or specified the consoles for the Western release.

Koei Tecmo describes the game:

The second part in the Mysterious trilogy, Atelier Firis, follows the journey of a young alchemist through an exciting and colorful world. While Firis travels, she learns more about synthesis and alchemy, meets interesting people, and amplifies the feeling of exploration with the immense expansion of the world map!

The game will allow players to choose clothes among a large wardrobe to suit the environment. Characters will be better able to explore sunny areas when wearing cool clothes. Players will be able to collect new recipes, and in-game actions may give Firis a related recipe. The game's item synthesis system will have "catalysts" that can be combined with normal item synthesis to produce powerful effects.

Koei Tecmo America released the game's predecessor, Atelier Sophie: The Alchemist and the Mysterious Book, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on June 7. The PlayStation Vita release is digital-only. The game shipped for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita last November in Japan.
