Music video celebrates Resident Evil series' 20th anniversary
Sony revealed during its PlayStation press conference on Tuesday that game developer CAPCOM and rock band L'Arc-en-Ciel are collaborating to develop a 3D VR music video for the band's "Don't be Afraid" song. The collaboration celebrates the 20th anniversary of CAPCOM's Resident Evil (Biohazard) horror game series. CAPCOM will release a preview of the music video on October 13.
CAPCOM scanned the band members' faces to recreate their likenesses in a 3D environment. The video will depictthe band members in the world of the Resident Evil games. The video can be watched through Sony's PlayStation VR headset, which allows users to change their point of view in a particular scene.
