Itadaki Street: Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary Announced for PS4, PS Vita

Latest installment in board game series slated for 2017

Square Enix announced at the 2016 PlayStation Press Conference on Tuesday that it will release a new Itadaki Street (Fortune Street) game for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. The game, titled Itadaki Street: Dragon Quest & Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary, is slated for 2017.

The Dragon Quest series is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and the Final Fantasy series will reach its 30th anniversary next year.

Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii also created the Itadaki Street board game-style video game series. Several earlier games in the series have featured Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy crossovers. Nintendo released Itadaki Street: Dragon Quest & Super Mario for Nintendo Wii in North America as Fortune Street in 2011.
