World End Economica's Spicy Tails develops game set in futuristic world where humans have cyberbrains

Sekai Project announced at its panel at Anime Weekend Atlanta on Saturday that it will release the Project Lux, Serment Contract with a Devil, and Falsetto Memories visual novels for the PC.

Sekai Project describes Project Lux:

Our story takes place in a court trial, set in a futuristic world where most humans have cyberbrains. The defendant on trial is an agent who coordinates with artists to create the data for cyberbrains to interact with people's emotions. The victim is a girl artist named Lux. The jury has to investigate what really happened by reliving the memory data of the defendant. This title is Spicy Tail's new adventure adopting HMD in a VR space

Spicy Tails is developing the game, and has not yet announced a release date for Japan. Spice and Wolf author Isuna Hasekura is writing the game, with character designs by Luna Tsukigami. Keisuke Sakakibara is credited for 3D modeling, Yō Shimizu is drawing the concept illustrations.

Sekai Project released the first episode of Spicy Tails' World End Economica on Steam in 2014, then launched a Kickstarter to localize the second and third episodes. Like Project Lux, Hasekura also wrote World End Economica. Sekai Project plans to release World End Economica on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita.

Sekai Project describes Serment Contract with a Devil:

Serment - Contract with a Devil (or Serment, for short) is a visual novel - dungeon crawler hybrid featuring a dating sim time management system, turn-based RPG battles, multiple minigames and most importantly cute kemonomimis. The player assumes the role of 1 out of 4 girls who was revived by a beautiful devil. Though, instead of claiming our heroine's ever so cliche human soul, the devil demands a huge sum of money for payment. If the payment comes even one day late, the heroine will return to the afterlife. And so her light-hearted, comedic adventure to save up enough money before the deadline begins.

Western developer NKTSTUDIO is developing the game. The developer has not yet revealed specified a release date.

Sekai Project describes Falsetto Memories:

Yuuki is 19 years old and lives in the small village of Shirakawa. She's graduated high school and now wishes to continue her life by going to a music university in Tokyo. Yuuki wants to muster up the courage to convince her best friend Shigure to come with her.

The game follows the story of Yuuki as she arrives in Tokyo after an unfortunate event. Once there, she discovers a complete new world, meets new friends, even falls in love.

Western developer Chrono Works Studios is developing the game. The company has not yet specified a release date.

Sekai Project also announced that Denpasoft will release the following adult titles: Project Helius's Fallen Doll, LiLiesProject's Her and Her and My 7 Days -Seven days with the Ghost-, and nostalgia's Girls in Glasses. Girls in Glasses is slated for a 2017 release. While Denpasoft had "originally focused on helping Sekai Project with their core mission of bringing visual novels to a wider audience," the company now plans to "independently bring high quality eroge titles to fans in the West."
