Media distribution service Crunchyroll announced on Friday that it will stream the Sengoku Chōjū Giga: Kō television anime series and the second season of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans.

Crunchyroll will stream Sengoku Chōjū Giga: Kō under the title SENGOKUCHOJYUGIGA starting on Saturday at 1:45 p.m. EDT. The anime will be available worldwide outside of Asia. The anime will use a sumi-e (traditional Japanese ink painting) motif, and will feature Japan's famous Sengoku-era warlords as animals. The anime will depict the characters in historically important events as well as in casual everyday situations.

The series will premiere in Japan on October 9 at 1:42 a.m. on KBC TV. Takashi Sumida (Sengoku Nabe TV, Bakarhythm The Movie, Jitsuzai-Sei Million Arthur) is directing the series at ILCA. Ryōichi Tsuchiya (Urero Mikakunin Shōjo) and Hiromu Kumamoto (Kagewani, Kawabon, Yamishibai: Japanese Ghost Stories) are writing the script. Yurisa Ueda is credited for animation. Kensaku Sakai (5LDK, Yorutamori) is credited as the "brain." Japanese artist Nielsen is handling the key animation. Voice actress Megumi Hayashibara is narrating the series. Other main cast members include kabuki actor Hashinosuke Nakamura as Oda Nobunaga, Ryota Murai as Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Masanari Wada as Tokugawa Ieyasu.

Crunchyroll will stream the second season of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans starting on October 9, and it will stream new episodes on Sundays at 4:00 a.m. EDT for members in: the United States, Canada, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, Europe, South Africa, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Daisuki began streaming the anime worldwide outside of Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, and Mainland China starting on October 2.

The 25-episode first season premiered in Japan last October. Daisuki, Gundam.info, and Hulu streamed the series as it aired. Crunchyroll and Funimation streamed new episodes one week after they aired. Adult Swim's Toonami block began airing the anime with an English dub in June.

Tatsuyuki Nagai is helming the show at Sunrise, with Mari Okada handling series composition. Yū Itō (Shut Hell, Imperial Guards) drew the original character designs, while Michinori Chiba (Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Mobile Suit Gundam AGE) designed the characters for animation. Naohiro Washio, Kanetake Ebikawa, Ippei Gyōbu, Kenji Teraoka, and Tamotsu Shinohara are designing the mechas for the show. KUSANAGI is in charge of art design, and Masaru Yokoyama is composing the music.
