Character guidebook, art book slated for November, story guidebook slated for December

This year's 46th issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine is announcing on Wednesday that CLAMP's Tsubasa, RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE manga will get two new guidebooks, as well as an art book.

The first guidebook will center on the characters in the story. It will contain details on both main and minor characters, lists of the top 5 characters in different fields, an interview with CLAMP, storyboards for the Tsubasa: WoRLD CHRoNiCLE manga, pages of the Horitsuba Gakuen manga that do not appear in the compiled volumes, and a pin-up mini poster of the exclusive cover illustration. It will ship on November 17.

The mini-art book will also ship on November 17. It will contain 23 illustrations from Tsubasa: WoRLD CHRoNiCLE in color, as well as colored versions of famous scenes from the Tsubasa, RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE manga.

The second guidebook will center on the story itself. It will explain story details from the Tokyo Arc until the Nirai Kanai Arc, an interview with CLAMP that will reveal Tsubasa's secrets, illustrations from leading guest artists, pages of the Kinugawa Onsen-hen manga that do not appear in the compiled volumes, and a pin-up mini poster of the exclusive cover illustration. It will ship in mid-December.

CLAMP began Tsubasa, RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, their manga that brings together characters from their past series, in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in 2003, and they ended the series in 2009. The team then launched Tsubasa: WoRLD CHRoNiCLE in August 2014 in Kodansha's Magazine Special, and ended its "Nirai Kanai Arc" in March. Kodansha published the Nirai Kanai Arc's third and final compiled book volume on August 17.

Kodansha USA licensed Tsubasa: WoRLD CHRoNiCLE, and released the third English volume on September 13.

Del Rey once published all 28 compiled English volumes of Tsubasa, RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE in North America. The manga inspired two television anime series, a feature film, and two original video animation (OVA) projects, all of which Funimation licensed in North America.
