AnimeJapan 2017 Convention Separates Business Days From Public Days

Industry-only days on March 23-24, public days on March 25-26

The AnimeJapan convention announced on October 17 that the 2017 event will have two industry-only days for business meetings separate from the event's two main days where it is open to the public. The business days will feature a dedicated business area with smaller booths, and will take place on March 23 and 24. General attendees can enter the convention on the main days on March 25 and 26.

While the event previously had industry-only days in 2015 and 2016, both had one day overlapping with the public day.

The 2017 event will be the convention's fourth event, and will be held at the Tokyo Big Sight.

The AnimeJapan event debuted in 2014 as the merger of two previous events — Tokyo International Anime Fair (TAF) and Anime Contents Expo (ACE).

The event drew 121,540 attendees across three days in March 2015, and 135,323 attendees across three days at this year's event in March.
