Qwaser of Stigmata Manga Duo Launch New Manga in November

Shinju no Nectar manga centers on princess of fallen country who resurrects evil warrior

The December issue of Akita Shoten's Champion RED magazine revealed on October 19 that writer Hiroyuki Yoshino (Guilty Crown, Izetta: The Last Witch) and artist Kenetsu Satou (My-HiME, My-Otome) are once again collaborating to launch a new manga series titled Shinju no Nectar (Nectar of Divine Curse), which will debut in the magazine's next issue on November 19.

The magazine teases the manga's plot:

The Principality of Adal lies devastated in the wake of the Ord Army's overwhelming invasion. Princess Sakura, a surviving member of the nobility, flees to an abandoned temple and enacts a ritual to resurrect an evil warrior.

Yoshino and Satou collaborated on the Seikon no Qwaser (The Qwaser of Stigmata) manga, which they launched in 2006 in Champion RED, and ended on July 9. Akita Shoten published the manga's 24th and final compiled book volume on September 20. Tokyopop released part of the manga in North America before it closed its doors in 2011, and Sentai Filmworks licensed both seasons of the anime adaptation.

Satou began a new series titled Otome to Chigiri (Maiden and Promise) in Champion RED's October issue on August 19. In the story, protagonist Futaba Chikiri attends a school where, by the rules, the loser of a duel must obey the winner. Aiming to be the strongest, Futaba challenges the school leader Kaguya Otomezawa.
