Aya Suzaki Performs Koro Teacher Quest! Anime's Opening Song

This year's 49th issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine is announcing on Monday that Aya Suzaki will perform the opening theme song "Re:QUEST" for the anime of Jō Aoto and Kizuku Watanabe's Koro-sensei Q! (Koro Teacher Quest!) spinoff manga. The anime will premiere with the Gekijōban Ansatsu Kyōshitsu: 365-Nichi no Jikan (Assassination Classroom The Movie: 365 Days) compilation anime film in Japan on November 19.
Suzaki voiced the character Kaede Kayano in the Assassination Classroom television anime. She also performed opening theme songs for the first and second season of the anime series.
Watanabe and Aoto began the Koro-sensei Q! spinoff series in Shueisha's Saikyō Jump in October 2015. In the manga, Koro-sensei is a demon king in a world of swords and sorcery.
Studio Lerche, the television anime's staff, and the television anime's cast are all returning to work on both films.
The first 22-episode season of the Assassination Classroom anime premiered in Japan in January 2015, and the second season premiered this past January and ended in July. The manga ended in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump in March.
The original manga also inspired two live-action films, the second of which premiered in Japan on March 25.
