Kamen Rider Blade Star Takayuki Tsubaki Seriously Injured in Traffic Dispute

34-year-old Kamen Rider Blade lead actor Takayuki Tsubaki sustained serious injuries when he was beaten in the face with a golf club at the end of a traffic dispute in Tokyo's Nakano Ward on Tuesday evening.
Tsubaki had stepped from the sidewalk onto the roadway after 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday in Nakano's Chuo area, and he engaged in an argument with a passing motorcyclist. Fuji News Network reports that Tsubaki was struck in the face with a golf club by the motorcyclist's younger brother who came to the scene.
The Tokyo Metropolitan Police arrested the alleged assailant on the charge of inflicting bodily injury, and is now investigating the details of the incident.
Tsubaki was born in 1982 in Chiba Prefecture, and he made his acting debut in the 2001 film Go. In addition to Kamen Rider Blade, he acted in films, television series, and stage plays.
