New game is "heavily influenced" by pro wrestling

Grasshopper Manufacture game designer Goichi "Suda51" Suda announced during the Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 livestream event on Thursday that Grasshopper Manufacture is developing a game for the Switch that will feature No More Heroes protagonist Travis Touchdown.

Suda51 didn't specify if the game will be a new No More Heroes title. He also said the game's title hasn't been decided yet, but the game is "heavily influenced" by pro wrestling. He added he's been discussing ideas for the Switch console with the indie game community at different gaming events in Japan over the last year.

Grasshopper Manufacture released No More Heroes for the Wii in 2007, and later for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. A sequel, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle, shipped on the Wii in 2010.
