Dub begins streaming on February 2 at 9:00 p.m. EST

Funimation revealed that it will stream an English dub for the television anime of Akira Amano's ēlDLIVE manga as it airs in Japan this winter. The dub will begin streaming on February 2 at 9:00 p.m. EST.

The anime premiered in Japan on Tokyo MX on January 8. Crunchyroll is streaming the series with English subtitles as it airs in Japan.

Crunchyroll describes the story:

Middle school student Chuta Kokonose has heard a voice in his head ever since he can remember. When a strange creature recruits him to the space police force, he learns that the source of the voice is a Monitalien, a symbiotic creature who is living inside his body! Now Chuta must prove his mettle to his cold-hearted coworker, Misuzu, and the rest of the department by protecting the universe from otherworldly criminals.

Takeshi Furuta (The Comic Artist and His Assistants, Saint Seiya: Soul of Gold, Utano Princesama Legend Star) is directing at Studio Pierrot with assistant director Tomoya Tanaka (Blood Lad). Toshimitsu Takeuchi (Saint Seiya: Soul of Gold, Shōnen Ashibe GO! GO! Goma-chan, Weiß Survive R) is in charge of the series scripts. Han Seungah (Seung Ah Han) is serving as character designer and chief animation director with sub-character designer Keiichirou Matsui (Deadman Wonderland). Yasuharu Takanashi (Naruto Shippūden, Fairy Tail, Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal) of Team-MAX is composing the music.

Female singer Alfakyun is performing the opening theme song, while The Super Ball duo (The Morose Mononokean) are performing the ending theme song.

Amano (Reborn!) launched the original series in full color on Shonen Jump+'s predecessor app Jump Live in August 2013. The manga switched to Shonen Jump+ when the app launched in September 2014. Viz Media published the first three chapters of the manga in English digitally in September-October 2014 as part of its "Jump Start" initiative.

Update: According to Funimation's website, the dub would premiere on January 26 at 8:00 p.m. EST. However, Funimation confirmed with ANN on Wednesday that the stream will premiere on February 2 at 9:00 p.m. EST.
