Game ships on April 4 with English dub, downloadable Japanese track

Atlus began streaming an English-dubbed "sizzle trailer" for Persona 5 on Monday. The video introduces the main characters in clips from cut scenes and gameplay.

Atlus USA is releasing Persona 5 in the West on April 4, 2017, delayed from its previous February 14 release date. However, the company will now offer the Japanese voice track as a free DLC, contrary to the original plan to release the game without a dual-language option.

The digital version of the game is available for pre-order now, and those who pre-order the game get a dynamic theme and three avatars. Digital pre-orders also include the "Izanagi & Izanagi Picaro Set" DLC bonus.

The English dub cast includes:

The latest entry in the Persona role-playing game series shipped for the PS4 and PS3 in Japan on September 15. The game is not planned for launch on PC or Nintendo Switch.

Atlus will offer the American release in a "Take Your Heart" Premium Edition that includes a soundtrack CD, a Morgana plush, a hardcover art book, a steelbook, and a school bag. The game will also be available in a SteelBook Edition.

The game features animation sequences from the Production I.G studio.

The Persona 5 the Animation -The Day Breakers- television anime special aired on September 3. The special recounts the prologue story of the young thief organization at the center of the game. Crunchyroll streamed the television special, and Aniplex of America released it on an import Blu-ray Disc of the Collector's Edition on February 14.
