Aimi Tanaka stars in series about executive in secret organization who loves heroes

The May issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Dragon Age magazine confirmed on Saturday that jin's Precarious Woman Executive Miss Black General (Zannen Onna Kanbu Black General-san) manga is getting an anime adaptation on Production I.G's "Tate Anime" (Vertical Anime) smartphone app.

The issue also reveals the anime's main cast and staff, and the summer premiere.

The show's cast includes:

Tanaka will also perform a song for the show.

Isamu Ueno is directing the series with yoneda handling the key animation. ReeeznD is animating the series, Roger Yamaha is the producer alongside Hiroshi Ōtsuka, and Makoto Ibuki is the "ancient producer." Captain Mirai is handling the sound effects. Kadokawa is collaborating on the series.

The manga revolves around the titular Black General, a woman executive in the secret "RX Organization," which aims to rule the world. But Black General is a fan of Braveman, the hero who protects the city. The creator jin launched the manga in Monthly Dragon Age in 2015, and Kadokawa published the manga's second compiled book volume last September.

The official website for the Tate Anime app is listing nine streaming titles including Precarious Woman Executive Miss Black General, but hasn't yet revealed if all the titles would be new anime.

Other confirmed anime that will stream on the app include the anime adaptations of NTT Plala's Lunatan ~Kyojin Luna to Chitei Tanken! game, Gamu's Africa no Salaryman (Businessmen in Africa) manga, and Takana Yukue's T-sensei manga. Other titles listed on the app include:

The website for the app states it plans to add more works in the future.

The Tate Anime app is accepting preregistration. The app will offer short (about three-minute) anime that will update every weekday, and each series will have 10 episodes. The new anime will be presented vertically for smartphones. The app is aimed at people who do not have time to watch television or do not own a television.

The app is slated to launch in late April for iOS and Android devices. The T-sensei has already confirmed that it will premiere in April.
