posted on by Rai Kelly
6th season of anime premiered on Tuesday

Crunchyroll announced on Tuesday that it is streaming the Natsume Yujin-cho 6 anime as it airs in Japan. The first episode premiered on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. EDT. The stream is available in North America, South America, Central America, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, and Turkey!.

Natsume Yujin-cho 6 is the sixth installment of the anime inspired by Yuki Midorikawa's Natsume's Book of Friends (Natsume Yūjin-Chō) manga. The anime seasons and Midorikawa's original manga revolve around Natsume, a boy who has been able to see ghosts since he was little.

Crunchyroll describes the latest series as follows:

Precious days with kind friends. A beautiful yet fleeting story about people and spirits. Natsume Takashi had been able to see yokai ever since he was young and inherited his grandmother Reiko's Book of Friends. He spends his days with his self-proclaimed bodyguard Nyanko-sensei and freeing the yokai that were bound to the book. Natsume continues to find ways to protect the precious days where he tries to find which path to follow through his connections with spirits and those involved with them and being helped out by friends who share the same feelings.

Crunchyroll streamed the previous series, Natsume Yūjin-Chō Go, as it aired. The other four seasons of the anime are also available on Crunchyroll.
