The Idolm@ster SideM Anime Promo Shows Idol Group of Former High School Teachers

The staff of the upcoming The Idolm@ster SideM anime unveiled a promotional video and key visual introducing the in-story idol group S.E.M during a Niconico livestream presentation on Thursday. The cast members for the group also appeared at the event.
S.E.M consists of (from left to right in the image above) former high school chemistry teacher Jiro Yamashita (voiced by Yoshiki Nakajima), former high school English teacher Rui Maita (voiced by Junya Enoki), and former high school math teacher Michio Hazama (voiced by Kent Itō). The unit works for in-story agency 315 Production.
The Idolm@ster SideM 2nd Stage ~Origin@l Stars~ concert announced the anime in February and unveiled a promotional video and key visual of the in-story idol unit Dramatic Stars. The unit is composed of Teru Tendō (voiced by Shugo Nakamura), Kaoru Sakuraba (Yūma Uchida), Tsubasa Kashiwagi (Taku Yashiro).
The staff later revealed a video and key visual for the in-story idol unit Beit, which is composed of Kyōji Takajō (voiced by Yuichiro Umehara), Pierre (Shun Horie), and Minori Watanabe (Tomohito Takatsuka)
The Idolm@ster SideM game launched in July 2014, and is available for iOS and Android devices, as well as on Mobage and ChromeApps. Like other games in The IDOLM@STER franchise, SideM is built on the concept of "idols you can produce." The app focuses on the male idols at the agency 315 Production (pronounced "Saikō Production" or "Ultimate Production"). The app now has more than one million downloads.
