Anime Limited is releasing a Collectors Edition Blu-ray/DVD edition of Evangelion 1.0: You Can (Not) Advance. (The edition will include art cards and a 28-page booklet.) It is the first of the 'Rebuild of Evangelion' feature films, remaking the original 1995 TV series Neon Genesis Evangelion.

The film is set after the cataclysmic 'Second Impact. In Japan, Tokyo-3 is a city that's being attacked by giant creatures that seek to eradicate the human kind, called Angels. After not seeing his father for more than eight years, Shinji Ikari receives a phone call, in which he is told to urgently come to the NERV Headquarters, an organization that deals with the destruction of the Angels through the use of giant mechs called Evas. Shinji's objective is to pilot the Eva Unit 01 ,while teaming up with the Eva Unit 00 pilot, Ayanami Rei.

Funimation will release Blu-ray and DVD editions of the sex comedy series SHIMONETA: A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Doesn’t Exist. Hirotaka Akagi's original light novel series was set 16 years after the "Law for Public Order and Morals in Healthy Child-Raising" banned coarse language in the country. Tanukichi Okuma enrolls in the country's leading elite public morals school and is soon invited into the Anti-Societal Organization (SOX) by its founder, Ayame Kajō. As a member blackmailed into joining by Ayame, Tanukichi ends up taking part in obscene acts of terrorism against the talented student council president Anna (for whom Tanukichi has a crush).

Youhei Suzuki (The "Hentai" Prince and the Stony Cat.) directed the series with series scripts by Masahiro Yokotani (Free! Eternal Summer, Riddle Story of Devil) at J.C. Staff. Masahiro Fujii (The Pet Girl of Sakurasou, Hayate the Combat Butler!!, The Familiar of Zero) adapted Eight Shimotsuki's original character designs. Akiyuki Tateyama scored the music with the production label Starchild. Jin Aketagawa directed the sound, and GENCO produced the anime.
