Idol Unit Erabareshi Perform Ending Theme Song For Hajimete no Gal Anime

Romantic comedy series premieres in July

The official website for the television anime of Meguru Ueno's Hajimete no Gal (First-Time Gal) manga revealed on Friday that the Erabareshi will perform the show's ending theme song "Galtic Love."

Erabareshi is a seven-member all-female idol unit that made its major debut in June 2016. The unit features composer/writer Chiyomaru Shikura (Robotics;Notes, B-PROJECT) as an executive producer. Hello! Project producer Tsunku also participates in the unit as a creator.

The anime will premiere in July, and will have 10 episodes and one OVA.

The show's cast includes:

Shintarō Asanuma as Junichi Hashiba

Yuki Nagaku as Yukana Yame

Eri Kitamura as Ranko Honjō

Ayana Taketatsu as Yui Kashii

Yui Ogura as Shizune Fujinoki

Hiroyuki Furukawa (My Wife is the Student Council President, Sin Strange Plus) is directing the anime and designing the characters at NAZ (Hamatora). Yūichirō Momose ("Sakura Internet Shinsei" net series) is handing series composition. Yashikin (Anime De Training! Xx!) is composing the music at MAGES.

The romantic comedy begins with Junichi "Jun" Hashiba, an uncool high school student who frets about wanting to lose his virginity. Egged on by his friends, Jun gets on his knees and confesses his love to a classmate named Yukana Yame. The confession surprisingly works and the couple goes out. However, Jun finds himself in uncharted waters with Yame, a trendy and fashion-conscious "gal" (gyaru).

Ueno launched the manga in Kadokawa's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine in November 2015. Kadokawa published the third volume on March 25.
