posted on by Karen Ressler

Video streaming service Tubi TV began streaming the Tide-Line Blue, Stratos 4, Ninja Slayer, and Naruto Spin-Off: Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals anime this week. All four series are available in Japanese with English subtitles.

Tide-Line Blue takes place in a future where 90% of the Earth's surface is flooded. The survivors of humanity gather on the remaining landmass, but a nuclear submarine goes rogue and declares war on the new United Nations. 14-year-old gambler Keel and his love Isla, a girl who has just given birth to a baby, end up on board the rogue submarine and are accepted by the crew.

Umanosuke Iida (Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team, Devilman) directed the 2005 anime series at Telecom Animation Film and Yuka Yamada (Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, Samurai Warriors) handled series composition. Bandai Entertainment previously released the series on DVD in North America with an English dub.

Bandai Entertainment also previously released Stratos 4 in North America with an English dub, and it describes the story:

Comets are on a collision course with Earth?! WRONG! With impending comets threatening to destroy Earth, the "Meteor Sweepers" have been entrusted with the task of destroying these comets before they enter Earth's atmosphere. Mikaze Honjo and her 3 friends are a young pilots for the "Meteor Sweepers" based in Okinawa. But just as Mikaze starts losing motivation in her work, she'll suddenly discover a new goal in life...

The television anime premiered in 2003, and it was followed by three original video anime (OVA) sequels. Takeshi Mori (Gunsmith Cats, Chain Chronicle) directed the series.

Crunchyroll is also streaming Ninja Slayer and Naruto Spin-Off: Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals in Japanese with English subtitles. Funimation is streaming the Ninja Slayer English dub.
