Nora, Princess, and Stray Cat TV Anime Shorts Reveals Staff, Cast, Summer Premiere

Harukaze's original adult visual novel for PC gets PS Vita port, manga, novel

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Harukaze's Nora, Princess, and Stray Cat. (Nora to Ōjo to Noraneko Heart) adult visual novel revealed on Friday that the series of anime shorts will premiere this summer.

The website also revealed the show's main staff and cast. Kenshirō Morii (Wake Up, Girl Zoo!, Gakumon! ~Ōkami Shōjo wa Kujikenai~, Anime-Gataris) is directing the anime, and Hato, who wrote the scenario for the visual novel, is writing the scripts. Harukaze is credited with the original work.

The anime features a completely different cast from the visual novel: (The character designs below are from the original visual novel.)

Natsumi Takamori as Patricia of End, a princess of the underworld. She comes to the human world in order to destroy it, but there she falls in love with Nora.


Eri Sendai as Michi Kuroki, Nora's childhood friend. She is diligent and is a member of her school's school's public morals committee.


Yuu Asakawa as Shachi Yuuri, a young woman with a gentle heart. She handles all the household chores of Nora's household, and cooking is her strong point.


Atsumi Tanezaki as Yuuki Asuhara, who is a year younger at school than Nora, and is a gyaru. She has a bright personality and has many friends, and she also works multiple part-time jobs.


Yuri Yamaoka as Nobuchina Takada, Nora's classmate, and the daughter of a famous local yakuza.


Yō Taichi as Lucia of End, Patricia's older sister who is kind to her younger sisters but is stern with everyone else.


Ayuru Ōhashi as Yuracia of End, Patricia's younger sister who has a carefree and bright personality.


Juri Kimura as Tanaka-chan, Nora's classmate who has a kind heart.


Takeaki Masuyama as Ida, Nora's classmate and a blunt juvenile delinquent.


The game's story centers around Nora Handa, a high school boy whose mother adopts a girl named Shachi Yuuri who is younger than him. Shachi lost her mother and no longer lives with her father, but both Nora and Shachi were raised well.

Nora's childhood friend and honors student Michi Kuroki is the head of the school's public morals committee, and is also friends with Yuuki Asuhara, who acts like a gyaru but is a reliable confidante.

One day, on the way to school, Nora meets a girl named Patricia in a park. Patricia says that she is a princess of the underworld, and she has come to the surface world to destroy all life. But the first time she touches someone in the surface, she faints, and Nora finds himself nursing her. Patricia asks Nora to tell him the secrets of life, and Nora starts by explaining the adult magazine that they found in the park.

In the anime, Nora and Patricia accidentally kiss, and this act turns Nora into a black cat. Patricia takes Nora to her home, and a few days later Nora turns back into a human. However, Nora keeps turning into a cat and back into a human.

Harukaze released the game for PC in February 2016. The anime's official website revealed on Friday that the game is getting a port for the PlayStation Vita this fall.

The website also revealed that the game is getting a manga adaptation. A preview of the manga will launch in Kadokawa's Dengeki G's Comic magazine in its August issue on June 30. Additionally, Kentarō Kobayashi is writing a novel adaptation with illustrations by Itsuki Ōzora that will launch on June 30. Hato is supervising the novel.

The franchise is also getting an online radio show, and a booster pack for the Chaos TCG trading-card game.
