Tokyo Marble Chocolate Released Monday

posted on by Andrew Osmond

On Monday May 29, Anime Limited will release its Blu-ray/DVD Collector's Edition of Tokyo Marble Chocolate. Directed by Naoyoshi Shiotani (Psycho-Pass) and animated by Production I.G, the two-part OAV is a romantic comedy. Each part tells the same story about a hapless Tokyo couple from a different point of view; one episode takes the viewpoint of the man and the the other episode takes the woman's viewpoint.

MVM will release Little Busters! Refrain, the 13-part sequel to Little Busters!, on both Blu-ray and DVD. According to the official synopsis: 'At last, the baseball team of the Little Busters! has reunited with many new friends among old ones. However, peace for the fun-loving students would not last forever. As Riki Naoe learns the truth behind his narcolepsy and the other mysteries around campus, he realizes that the dream must come to an end, and everything that had stopped starts to move.'

Following on from Little Busters!, Little Busters! Refrain adapts up the final scenario in Key's romance adventure visual novel of the same name.

Manga Entertainment is releasing the film Yu-Gi-Oh!: The Dark Side of Dimensions on both Blu-ray and DVD. The film opened in Japan in April 2016 and eventually earned more than 1 billion yen (about US$9 million). The story takes place six months after the end of the original series, when Yugi Muto and his friends are preparing to graduate from high school. While Yugi still feels like he's lost a part of himself, he's come to terms with the Pharaoh's passing, now looking forward to a future alongside his classmates. However, other people may not be so willing to let the past alone.

Manga is also releasing the film in a double-pack (Blu-ray and DVD) which also includes the 2010 spinoff film, Yu-Gi-Oh! 3D: Bonds Beyond Time.

Manga Entertainment will also release Blu-ray editions of the two feature-length compilations of the TV series, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. The first compilation is Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - The Laughing Man, based on the first TV season. The second compilation is Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Individual Eleven, based on the 2nd Gig season.
