BD sold 45,276 copies to rank #1 on animation & overall charts; DVD ranked #1 on animation chart

The sixth and final Blu-ray Disc volume of the Yuri!!! on Ice television anime sold 45,276 copies in its first week, and ranked #1 on Oricon's animation and overall Blu-ray Disc charts for the May 22-28 week. The volume shipped on May 26.

The sixth Blu-ray Disc volume sold higher than the second Blu-ray Disc volume's 36,470 copies in February, and is a new record high for the series. The sixth Blu-ray Disc volume is the fourth volume in the series to top the overall chart, after the second, third, and fourth volumes.

The sixth DVD volume sold 18,283 copies and also ranked #1 in the animation chart and #2 in the overall chart for the week.

The sixth DVD and Blu-ray Disc volumes contain the "Welcome to The Madness" bonus exhibition video that focuses on the character Yuri Plisetsky. It also includes a Yuri!!! on Ice Coloring Book and exclusive booklet. The bonus extras will include Stéphane Lambiel's dialogue recording session video for the finale, audio commentaries for the finale (by Kōki Uchiyama, Toshiyuki Toyonaga, and Kubo), a figure skating choreography video by choreographer Kenji Miyamoto, and the clean opening animation video for episode 11.

The anime premiered in Japan in October, and Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan. Funimation also streamed an English broadcast dub. A new film for the franchise has been green-lit.
