Boruto Movie, My Love Story Released Monday

On Monday June 5, Manga Entertainment will release Boruto the Movie on Blu-ray and DVD. The film opened in Japan in August 2015, and is the top grossing Naruto film of all time in Japan. Viz Media, which screened the film in America, described the story of the film:

In Boruto -Naruto the Movie-, famed ninja, Naruto Uzumaki protects the Hidden Leaf Village as the Seventh Hokage, while Boruto, his troublesome son, resents his father's responsibilities that take his time away from him. Seeing this, Sasuke takes Boruto under his wing, while Sasuke's only daughter, Sarada, dreams of being Hokage one day.

With Naruto as the Seventh Hokage, the Hidden Leaf Village plans to host the Chunin Exams to train new shinobi from the village and from their allied villages. Among the entrants are Sasuke's daughter, Sarada, Mitsuki, an exceptionally talented yet mysterious shinobi… and Boruto, Naruto's talented but impetuous son. Meanwhile, Sasuke who's been on a mission in another dimension appears before Naruto to warn of a strange impending danger. Shrouded with an evil aura, Momoshiki and Kinshiki appear and attempt to assassinate Naruto.

Animatsu will release My Love Story!!. Viz Media described the source manga, a shojo romantic comedy by Kazune Kawahara and Aruko:

Takeo Gōda is a giant guy with a giant heart. Too bad the girls don't want him! (They want his good-looking best friend, Sunakawa.) Used to being on the sidelines, Takeo simply stands tall and accepts his fate. But one day when he saves a girl named Yamato from a harasser on the train, his (love!) life suddenly takes an incredible turn!

The anime series ran from April to September 2015.

Anime Limited will release a Blu-ray edition of Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu, the sequel to the original Full Metal Panic!. In the series, Kaname Chidori and her war-freak classmate Sousuke Sagara as they encounter more misadventures in and out of Jindai High School. But when Kaname gets into some serious trouble, Sousuke takes the guise of Bonta-kun - the gun-wielding, butt-kicking mascot. And while he struggles to continue living as a normal teenager, Sousuke also has to deal with protecting his superior officer Teletha Testarossa, who has decided to take a vacation from Mithril and spend a couple of weeks as his and Kaname's classmate.

Anime Limited will also release the fourth of the films based on the Persona 3 game, Persona 3 the Movie #4 Winter of Rebirth, as a dual format Blu-ray/DVD.

Funimation will release the fifteenth collection of Fairy Tail, containing episodes 165 to 175.
