Compile Heart's Moero Chronicle Game Heads West on PC This Summer

2nd game in Genkai Tokki series debuted in Japan on PS Vita in 2014

Idea Factory international announced on Thursday that it will release Compile Heart's Moero Chronicle (Genkai Tokki: Moero Chronicle) game in the West on PC. The release will have updated 1080p graphics, and the option to switch to Japanese and Traditional Chinese subtitles in addition to English. The game is slated for this summer.

Idea Factory International describes the game's story:

Io is a simple young man with only one problem - he can't talk to women! Any attempts at conversation are destroyed by his perverted mind, except when he talks to Lilia, his best friend and a Monster Girl.

However, that becomes the least of his problems when he's tasked with going to the dangerous region of Monstopia. There, Monster Girls have begun rampaging, causing wanton pain and destruction. Have the Monster Girls simply gone mad, or is there an even greater evil afoot...?

Compile Heart released the game in Japan for the PlayStation Vita in May 2014. Sony Computer Entertainment published the game in Asia for the PS Vita in May 2015 with English and Chinese subtitles.

Compile Heart released the latest game in the Genkai Tokki franchise, Genkai Tokki: Seven Pirates, for the PS Vita in August 2016. Other games in the franchise include Genkai Tokki: Monster Monpiece (January 2013), and Genkai Tokki: Moero Crystal (September 2015). Idea Factory International released Monster Monpiece in Japan, North America, and Europe in 2014, and released a PC version on March 14. Compile Heart revealed a new PlayStation 4 game for the series in March titled Genkai Tokki: Castle Panzers.
